T&BV original main line – Teague to Cleburne abandoned a long time ago (I remember Teague-Mexia so that was pulled up after 1965). Roughly followed TX 171 from Mexia to Cleburne, have followed most of it (but not all, especially around Hillsboro) from Google Earth. Left Teague headed due west (the storage yard is along the old main line) for Mexia, crosses the H&TC at Tower 63 south of town then turns north and parallels the H&TC. I've never figured out how this line went through Hillsboro.

To answer Kal's question, the T&BV entered Hillsboro from the east on the Corsicana Hwy (22/171) all the way west to the Katy. It crossed the Katy and curved north, paralleling the Katy through town, but on the west side. At Tower 44, it crossed the Cotton Belt and proceeded northeast to rejoin what is now Hwy 171. I'm still looking for a confirmed photo of Tower 44.
