The Clarks Valley Branch

The Clarks Valley Branch was built in 1872 by the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad as an extension of their Kalmia Branch and ran into Clarks Valley proper in order to haul out the natural timber in the region. It was about 6 miles in length.

The Clarks Valley Branch was abandoned in 1905.
