Norfolk Southern (NS) runs the tracks from Sayre to Milliken Station's coal burning power plant north of Ludlow Ville, NY. NS also serves the Salt Mining Facility (Cargill) in Lansing, NY. This line runs through Van Etten, Spencer and West Danby into Ithaca and along Cayuga Lake.
This refers to the ex-Elmira, Cortland and Northern from Horseheads through Van Etten to EAST Ithaca, not to the currently-active NS Ithaca line (ex-LV, ex-Ithaca & Athens), Both Ithaca and East Ithaca are in the same City but the East Ithaca branch was far to the east, in the Willseyville and then Six-Mile Creek valleys, not the Inlet Valley. You should move the marker over to Willseyville.
