The abandoned railroad route between Homer and Tearing Run Mine, known as The Tearing Run Branch, of which 2.7 miles have been abandoned, was once operated in Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Railroad.

There was a line between Homer City, PA and Tearing Run. This was a few miles long and could have been the line referred to above?? except it was in Indiana county. Unfortunately the website above has been consumed by $Ance$try$. Maybe there was a second Tearing Run in Venago County.
