The Sierra Branch of the McCloud River Railroad, formerly known as the Scott Lumber Company Branch, breaks off from the Bartle-to-Burney mainline at milepost B-58 near Berry, California and continues west and then south for approximately 7 miles, ending at milepost S-7 near Sierra, California. The McCloud Railway Company (MCR) filed for abandonment and discontinuation of service of the Sierra Branch on June 24, 2005, with the request being officially received and filed with the Surface Transportation Board (STB) on June 27, 2005. A discontinuance of trackage rights of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway Company over the Sierra Branch was requested and received on the same dates, respectively.

I was up trucking near burney this spring and saw crews pulling up tracks in this area. Idk if it was this exact line but it was near burney
As per the Sierra Branch link above the entire McCloud River Railway has been abandonded.
