The abandoned railroad route between South Morton and Allentown, known as The Peoria Branch, of which 4.15 miles have been abandoned, was once operated in Illinois by the Pennsylvania Railroad.

This was part of the Terre Haute-Peoria line. I believe this was aquired by the Illinois Terminal at one point, replacing its original line.
