i saw a mine and rail on the map.is the rail still active and is the mine still in operation?please let me know.thank you.
I was born in Mill Run (3mi N.of Penfield). Every year there is a family reunion at Parker Dam St. Park. Yes, the "Betty Jane" Mine on Moose grade road is still active. The rail line now connects with Genesee & Wyoming tracks on the High Grade from DuBois, Pa.
thanks for the info.please let me know if you find any abandoned rail or equipment in the area or on that rail line.thank you.
