I have pictures of the Creel Station on the LKRR. My Father grew up with the Rail Road just down over the hill from his home. He shipped Milk, Cream and other goods on the Rail Road. I ahve walked several miles of the road bed. My Father had a lot of stories about the RR. Interested? Contact me.
interested in all local abandonment railroads in area.only thing i could fined on the line was the depot in elizabeth.
Not sure if it's of any interest to anyone but my (late) uncle owned a house right on the Little Kanawha river. On our visits back in the 70's he would let us dig around for old bottles and such and at one point, we found tracks sticking up out of the ground. He didn't know anything about it and it was soon forgotten over the years until now. Between Google Earth and this site, I can see that part of his driveway basically follows the old railroad.
