Application of Oregon Short Line Railroad Company for authority to abandon a portion of a branch line of railroad known as the Idaho-Northern Branch in Valley County, Idaho a distance of 9.37 miles and for the Union Pacific Railroad Company to abandon operation thereover and for the former to acquire and latter company to operate a line of railroad to be constructed in Valley County, Idaho by The United States of America in the same general direction approx. 1-1/2 miles away from the present track and approx 4.15 miles longer than the existing line.
