An abandoned railroad line in Glenn County, California, known as The Fluto Branch, of which 11.021 miles have been abandoned, was once operated in California by the Southern Pacific Railroad.

I think that should read Fruto, rather than Fluto. At least that is the Spelling of the town in that immediate area. I do not know if it was ever named Fluto. I suspect a typo has taken place, I live 9 miles from Fruto, which seems to correspond with the Map location. I am willing to get a photo if anyone wants it for verification.
Agreed, the correct name is "Fruto".
Part of the line still exists today and runs from Willows east to the Johns Manville (JM) fiberglass insulation plant located at 5916 County Rd 49, Willows, CA 95988. The abandoned track continued west from JM.
