This line should be relocated on your PA map from the Northern Clearfield - Elk county area to Westmoreland county. This line ran from the PA turnpike bridge over turtle creek straight up the valley where the PA turnpike is now located.

Please note that the entire Turtle Creek RR from Trafford to Export has been abandoned and sold to the Westmoreland County rail to trail folks. The eastern end of this lien from Saltsburg to near Export was abandoned neat the late 60's.

Please allow me to correct my last comment. The Lyons Run branch ran right up the PA turnpike. This branch ran off the Lyons Run branch about halfway between Turtle Creek and the end of the Lyons Run branch at Pleasant Valley. This line terminated in Boxcartown PA where my great-great-aunt Helen Myzwinski Patrick lived briefly when she was about 6 years old. Today there are maybe a dozen old houses in Boxcartown with large, new suburban houses looming over town from the above hilltop. There is nothing I can recall of the RR except the railbed.
