The abandoned railroad route between Pearce and Commonwealth Mill, known as The Commonwealth Branch, of which 1.2 miles have been abandoned, was once operated in Arizona by Southern Pacific Railroad, the Arizona Eastern Railroad and the El Paso & South Western Railroad.
