This line would be a PRIME candidate for a BEAUTIFUL rails-to-trails trail! Spectacular views of Chestnut Ridge east, and a VERY nice scenic route, mostly undeveloped through farm fields!
from what i gather you know the area pretty good rich.my questions to you are what is still there besides the rail and how hard do you think it would be to get people interested.keep in touch.
