This Missouri Pacific Railroad line was built in the first decade of the 20th Century and connected two other MP lines, one at Benton and the other at Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The line served local timber mills in the region, and was abandoned in 1983.
Benton to Pine Bluff

Hi I am doing a project and this I was wondering if you knew who owned it.
My wife grew up in Prague, which you can see in the map above, along a gravel road that was the abandoned ROW for this branch of the MP.
Although I now live in Texas, I grew up near Pine Bluff in Hardin and rode my bicycle to the ROW and watched the rails being pulled up from this line in the early 1960s. Took many hikes along the ROW in the late 1960s. There were a few concrete bridges dated 1927. My Boy Scout troop camped in the abandonded town of Doylestown which was right on the line.
